Being sworn in as trustee in 2020

Serving our Community
I am seeking re-election for my second term as a Conroe ISD School Board Trustee, where I currently serve as the Board’s 2nd Vice President and Chairperson of the Audit and Investment Committee.

My family and I have proudly called The Woodlands home for nearly a decade. Both of my children are Conroe ISD students, and our involvement with the district has been deeply rewarding. My husband and I have actively volunteered at their schools—as members of PTOs and as room mom, while my husband has been a Watch DOG. I also volunteer as a mentor for students in the Caney Creek feeder.

My focus as a trustee has always been on improving student outcomes, ensuring the safety and security of our students and staff, and managing taxpayer money responsibly. These priorities guide every decision I make as a Board Trustee and will steer me in tackling critical issues at Conroe ISD, including funding shortages, the execution of the $2 billion bond, and teacher retention and recruitment.
Serving as a Conroe ISD School Board Trustee has been an honor, and I would be privileged to continue this important work. Lets keep Conroe ISD excellent!

I need your SUPPORT and your VOTE!
Why Re-Elect Stacey?
Passionate about our children's future. Focused on fiscal responsibility.
PROVEN LEADER
I have over a decade of experience as a CPA and finance professional, currently serving as Director of Internal Audit, and I hold an MBA. For the past four years, I have been a Conroe ISD trustee, holding several leadership roles, including 2nd Vice President and Chair of the Audit and Investment Committee. I am skilled at building consensus while actively listening to different perspectives.
INTEGRITY
You can rely on me for honesty and fairness. I have a deep respect for facts and understand the importance of earning trust. My experience in Audit has sharpened my ability to approach issues with a healthy skepticism and objective evaluation, ensuring I remain firm when necessary. As a product of public education, I am fully committed to protecting and advocating for it.
FISCAL CONSERVATIVE
As both a parent and taxpayer, I get it. Our children's education is a top priority, and so is the need for fiscal responsibility. If re-elected, I will remain focused on financial oversight, particularly in the use of the 2023 bond funds, while continuing to build on Conroe ISD's achievements in academic excellence, financial transparency, and student success.
